Have I mentioned how much I love no longer being glued to an office desk all day? While a lot of my day still involves sitting at my laptop, I now have the opportunity to be mobile and skip to different studios, often resulting in discovering something new in this city that I would have otherwise missed while sitting in an office. Example A: As I strolled through Union Square today, I came across Doggupy, the canine version of Occupy Wall Street.  These protestors, both two and four legged, were there to support Merrick Pet Care and were up in arms (and paws - PUN!) over low-quality food for our furry children.  Their goal? Food worthy of a fork.
I picked up some samples (I am in no way endorsing this company -  haven’t even researched it much yet!) and chuckled over the protest signs and even the doggy tents, a strikingly similar scene to that on Wall Street last year.
Long story short - if i was glued to my desk this morning, I would have missed a canine version of Occupy Wall Street.
Enough said.
