A Weekend in Baltimore…

It had been 8 months since my last visit home to Baltimore, which is shameful considering the 3-hour trip. Last Friday I bit the bullet, jumped on the train and headed south to B-more.

But this wasn’t just any old visit. 

This visit also included Joel’s parents. 

That’s right - a weekend with a somewhat newly engaged couple and all the future in-laws.

Highlights include my Mom and future Mother-in-Law showing off great teamwork in the kitchen.

An afternoon on the water with my Dad and Step-Mom.

With stops in Fells Point, 

And the Harbor.

There was a Crab Feast in the country - because that’s what Maryland does.

Where Lady joined the dog-pack, but her Napoleon complex shined through as she sprinted after the resident horses.

All in all, the weekend was a friendly reminder that I really truly need to spend more time out of the city.
