The Waverly Inn is one of those New York restaurants where you expect a celebrity sighting.
Owned by Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter, Waverly Inn sits on a picturesque West Village corner that looks more like a tiny British village than an urban city.
While we didn’t notice any celebs during our brunch, it has to be noted that everyone did look “fabulous” (not sure if this is good or bad?) and surprisingly, the food was on par.
I had their Dutch Pancake, a thick, yet fluffy version topped with pears and apples.  The best part?  The addition of bacon to ensure the dish was sweet and salty.
The interior feels like a remote country cabin, while the sunroom area is very bright, perfect for people watching.
Would I rush over to Waverly Inn for a meal? No.
Would I add it to my list? Yes.
