Enamor Me

Gunjan and I met almost five years ago at our first post-college PR jobs, where we grumbled over our positions as glorified gophers.

Our relationship evolved from coworkers to roommates to close friends and now I sit here in complete awe of her.

This past week, Gunjan opened her own store, Enamor Me.  I still can’t believe I’m writing these words.  She.opened.a.store.  What an adult! What an accomplishment!  

When she first told me of this endeavour, I sat there with wide eyes and a stream of questions: How do you even open or build a store? How do you buy inventory? How do you deal with finances? How do you dooooo any of it? 

On Saturday, I hopped on a bus from Port Authority (there’s a first time for everything) and ventured to her adorable Englewood, New Jersey store. 

Enamor Me specializes in gifts for all ages, whether you’re attending a housewarming or bridal shower or need a gift for a friend’s new child or dog (side note: LOVED the Jonathon Adler dog accessories). Enamor Me will also offer an extensive array of event planning services, such as intimate birthday dinners or huge sweet 16’s.

My favorite part of the store is definitely sweet children’s reading area and Dr. Seuss quotes on the wall.
